The originator of My GIANT LIFE a unique art journaling program. This month's prompt is: My GIANT Doodles.

I love doodling whether it's on a scratch piece of paper while I am chatting on the phone. It is my way of getting things down on paper and sometimes I do save those doodles as 'notes' for future projects.  I hope you will enjoy each of our takes on this creative GIANT journey!

It's that time of month again for the Explorations of Me!  The question for this month was: If you could be any animal what would it be and why?  I love animals so this was very hard to decide. I decided that I would like to be  cat or a dog.  My cat and dogs are so spoiled, so I would love to be them!

Mission Inspiration February 2017

My take on Mike Deakin's Mission Inspiration Art Journaling Challenge.  The photograph is from my personal collection of photographs. This one just happens to be my grandmother, mother and uncle circa 1930's.  I just love the feel that vintage photographs give to a piece.  I used one of my photo apps to alter and fix the faded photograph.  If you are interested in seeing how I created this piece, please head on over to here.

My Scraps Rolodex Series Card #3 -New Beginnings!

What do I do with all of my scraps?  I save them in a file box and use them specifically for these cards.  The scraps are leftover from other projects. 

 This time I decided to paint a bird on the card itself.  

This year I am trying to stick to some sort of prompt to get me started and I hope you will join me.  

This week's prompt is New Beginnings.  The month of January is when we tend to make New Year's resolutions.  I prefer to call them New Beginnings,  as with most resolutions,  I tend to break them!   I wrote on the back of my rolodex card what my New Beginnings would be for the year.  If you want to know what my New Beginnings are and see how I put this card together, please head on over to the Video here.

Welcome to My Scraps Rolodex Card a Week Series 2017, Card #1

What is a Scraps Rolodex Card, you may ask? It is a rolodex card that has been altered using whatever bits and bobs I have laying around my art room.  In this rolodex I used scraps from left over Gelli© printed papers, tissue papers, pieces of a security envelope etc..
